Youre obliged to conform when theres no other course
She used to look good to me, but now I find her
Simply irresistible”

“I have labelled myself as an anti-feminist feminist, and I think it suits me well. The whole female thing is very important to me of course, but then again it’s just as important as the fact that I have two legs and that I come from Iceland. It’s just one of those things. I see so many women constantly questioning themselves. Questioning why they do certain things. There’s this endless analytical process. What they don’t understand is that the main reason men have the freedom to do what they want, and get away with it, is that they don’t question themselves, they just do it. Women should stop doubting themselves because it cages them in and ties them down. They should just do what they want. Don’t take so much shit. If someone tries to make you feel guilty or intimidated, look them straight in the eye and laugh and they’ll probably start to cough in embarrassment. I’d much rather forget what I am, because at the end of the day, at the end of my life, I want to be happy with what I did in it, what I was in it. It doesn’t matter for shit whether I was a boy or a girl. That’s not the point.” —Björk - Winter Oyster 1995 (via antoinetta)

“I murmur under moon and stars
In brambly wildernesses;
I linger by my shingly bars;
I loiter round my cresses;

And out again I curve and flow
To join the brimming river,
For men may come and men may go,
But I go on forever.”

“

Well I got shadows of dust,

Covers up my heart,

And I got this picture of beauty

That she is essence and she is art

When the sun shines through your window

Some virgin mystic

All the history you’ve forgotten

You know its bound to repeat

We’ll make it tired, cuz you’re tired just like me

“Conservatives are not necessarily stupid, but most stupid people are conservatives.” —

John Stuart Mill

YAAAY! VALIDATION!

In closing - yes, as a matter of fact, I am on my 6th glass of wine, why do you ask? - with the closure of one blog of brilliance, comes the introduction of another - Oh Errol. I found this site today and am in love with it and want to marry it and have its babies and never break up and tell a national newspaper that I wouldn’t want it’s prostitute-tranny-infested sperm.
Maybe you guys all found it ages ago. Anyway, I love it and think you should all go read it right now. They wrote about rugby. I read it. And enjoyed it. Nuff said.omg we have fans! actual fans!! im so excited.(via www.whingers.blogspot.com)

“She dealt her pretty words like Blades—
How glittering they shone—
And every One unbared a Nerve
Or wantoned with a Bone—
She never deemed—she hurt—
That—is not Steel’s Affair—
A vulgar grimace in the Flesh—
How ill the Creatures bear—
To Ache is human—not polite—
The Film upon the eye
Mortality’s old Custom—
Just locking up—to Die.”
—Emily Dickinson (my favourite poem ever. i want part of it tattooed on me. someway, somehow)
